28 Apr Bread Roll Bakery in Reception
Today in both reception classes we made bread rolls from scratch. This links with our core book this week – The Little Red Hen. We learnt how to read a non-fiction text of a recipe, measure all the ingredients, mix them together, knead the dough, and shape them into small balls ready for cooking. Then we kindly asked Marcelo, our school chef, if he could cook them and he said Yes!We had a picnic together outside, munching on our wonderful, tasty bread rolls!
