On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week we held our annual sports days for both the Infants and the Junior Schools. Despite a few short showers, the weather worked in our favour and both days went ahead in full this year. The children had lots of fun as, well as developing their skills across a range of track and field events. Thank you to all parents and carers who volunteered their time to help with the events – without you the day would not be a success. Thank you also to all parents and carers who came along to watch – you created a fantastic atmosphere and helped to make this a real community event.
We are so lucky to have the Rose Academy team working with our school. They provide excellent sports opportunities and PE lessons week in, week out at school They then plan and deliver these wonderful sport days which make sure that all children are included.
