17 Jun Year 6 Visit the Ben Kinsella Trust
On Thursday 9th June, we learnt about the tragic story of Ben Kinsella and how he lost his life due to knife crime. We explored the Ben Kinsella Trust facility, which taught us many things about the impact that carrying a knife can have on lives. The interactive workshop gave us the opportunity to: talk about why people may carry knives; how to stay safe; what we should do if we see someone who is injured; consequences of the joint enterprise law and discuss wider costs to families and communities.
