20 May Year 2 at St Paul’s Cathedral
The Year 2 children were taken on a journey back in time during their visit to St Paul’s cathedral. They enjoyed dressing up and experiencing the smells and seeing the equipment that was used at that time. They were also able to explore the galleries of St Paul’s and to see statues that survived the fire as well as to admire the beauty of this grand building. Lying under the dome was a wonderful experience. They could share and enhance further their knowledge of the reasons and effect of the fire. Children were very excited to be able to see the Whispering gallery.
