07 May Reception Look After Ducklings
We have been exploring life cycles of different farm animals as we began our annual egg arrival in reception . We have looked at the purpose of incubators to help warm the eggs in order to allow them to hatch. Once our 5 ducklings hatched we then spent many days observing them, feeding them and cleaning out their enclosure! One of our pupils was lucky enough to take them home over the bank holiday weekend to take care of them! Our pupils have thoroughly enjoyed themselves creating paddling pools and games for the ducklings to thrive and grow. To finish our work, we have practiced ‘point of view’ diaries to imagine what it must have been like to be one of the ducklings growing up in our school!
