08 Dec Where should a polar bear keep its Christmas Tree?
Children in year 1 had a science day this week. They visited Railway Fields to collect natural objects and made frozen ice baubles for a polar bear. The children then planned their own investigation to find out where would be the best place to put the polar bear’s Christmas tree to stop the baubles melting. The children put baubles around the school and grounds to see how long they took to melt. The children used lots of scientific skills, such as asking questions, performing tests, observing and recording what they saw.
The best place was on the tree in the vegetable garden!
