26 May Summer Term Gardening
All classes in the infants have been very busy in the garden this term. We have planted tomatoes, rasberry canes, runner beans and courgettes. Sadly the slugs ate the courgette plants! We have been joined by garden friends though- bees, butterflies, ladybirds and even a robin hunting for insects. We have already harvested (and tasted!) broad beans, radishes and spring onions. Today was hot work and there was lots of watering to do!
