13 Mar Polly Faber assembly for years 1-4
Polly Faber, author of the ‘Mango and Bambang’ series of books, visited us today to do a special assembly for children in years 1-4. She told us about herself and her books which are about a little girl called Mango and a tapir called Bambang, who develop a special friendship and have lots of adventures. Polly lives locally and the visit was organised for us by Beanstalk, the literacy charity, who work closely with both infant and junior children. We all found out something new about tapirs and we are pleased that we now have copies of the books signed by Polly Faber and Clara Vulliamy who illustrates them.
