As part of the national curriculum for Science children in years 1 and 2 are taught to:
- observe changes across the four seasons
- observe and describe weather associated with the seasons and how day length varies.
Years 1 and 2 have been working scientifically to explore these two objectives by asking questions, observing closely and gathering and recording data to help answer questions. We will Railway Fields at different points throughout the year to investigate seaonal changes – we have just made our second visit to see the changes that have taken place from Autumn to Winter.
