10 May Reception go to Railways Fields
This Tuesday both Reception classes went to explore our topic -minibeasts- in action at Railway Fields. We found lots of different types of minibeasts in the pond – even finding a ‘water hoglouse’ and ‘red water worm’. Under logs we found woodlice, centipedes and even a spider. Then we were little scientists looking at them carefully under magnification.
TIP from our children: “If you want a great place to go after school, go there on a play-date” and explore a wonderful local treasure. Open til 5pm each day.
