28 Apr Year 3’s Cracking Castles and Brilliant Balloon Toys
In their D&T learning this year, Year 3 have completed two fantastic projects. In small groups, they used their knowledge of 2D and 3D shapes to help them construct strong and stable castles, complete with battlements, turrets, and working drawbridges. They have also worked individually and in pairs to design colourful and durable toys for younger children. Their toys had to incorporate a pneumatic system, which involved using balloons to make them move and open.
