Vacancies

Home > About Us  > About SHS > Vacancies

If you are thinking of joining our team it is really important to us that you have examined our vision and values first. You’re welcome to visit the school so you can see, and feel, the vision and values made real in the way we all work together. We consistently receive positive comments from visitors about how warm and welcoming our school is. This culture does not come at the expense of the very high standards of excellence in teaching, and learning, we expect – rather, our culture supports this goal.

A rare and fantastic opportunity: South Harringay Primary School is recruiting!

Class Teacher

We’ve had a couple of vacancies come up this year at South Harringay which provides an opportunity for enthusiastic teachers to join our dynamic and supportive team of professionals in September of this year. Ideally, we expect our teachers to be open to teaching across the full primary phase over time. However, we do our best to ensure that our new teachers start in phase  in which they have experience and/or feel most comfortable. So , we invite applications from teachers with experience in KS2, KS1 and EYFS.

We call our school a village and it very much reflects village life. Visitors always comment on how warm and welcoming we are. We are very much at the heart of our local community and benefit from supportive parents and carers.

We want to train the leaders of the future and work hard to create a range of opportunities for you to develop outstanding practise both in your classroom and across the school.

We are fortunate to be very well resourced including a generous range of Apple technology in every classroom, dedicated music room, music specialist, PE coaches and swimming pool.

We have a history of obtaining outstanding rates of progress for our diverse range of children across the entire curriculum. You will receive plenty of support in mastering our methods. Our program of professional development ensures we are all focused on our school improvement priorities while also arranging bespoke experiences for the individual.

Our school vision, and our values are integral to the way we work day to day. We work hard together to ensure we are living and learning by our values.

We are open to applications from experienced teachers and those who are new to the profession.
