To celebrate this International day which aims to encourage women and girls taking on science roles, the children were asked to design posters, power points and make videos about this important event. The children chose to celebrate a diverse range of female scientists both from history and those working as scientists today. These inspirational women include Mary Anning, Mari Curie, Mae Jemison, Emma Camp, Sara Seagar and Rita Levi Montalcini.
