21 Oct ‘Zooming’ with children living in the Amazon Rainforest
As you know, we teach geography through a wealth of resources provided by the Haringey Educational Partnership. Last Friday, two of our year 5 pupils were given the extraordinary opportunity to interview, via zoom, a tribe of children who live in the Amazon Rainforest in Bolivia. Our children found out about: their lifestyle; their local area; and the weather and climate of the region. They were fascinated by the information shared, and the children (and adults!) in this small tribe were equally amazed by them! We are very proud to share that this interview is going to be used as a resource to support the Geography topic ‘Rainforests’ and will be shared with schools across Haringey.
