30 Jun Year 6- Urban Nature Project
Year 6 took part the Urban Nature Project and developed their understanding of biodiversity in urban areas.
Throughout the trip, they were required to use their knowledge of different species and skills of classification. They devised an investigation to answer the question, ‘What is the impact of human activity on biodiversity in Hyde Park?’ Using a quadrat, they compared and contrasted the biodiversity of the parade ground and the meadow within the park. Once the date was collected, they presented their result in the form of a human bar graph.
