Starting with Anglo-Saxon England, Year 6 learnt about the world in AD 900, focusing on Maya, Islamic and West African culture and society.
They participated in a workshop using a range of resources.
The children showed that they are able historians, who can make links and connections between different civilisations and can use different sources to make inferences.
