13 Jul Year 4 Visit The Natural History Museum
This week, year 4 visited the Natural History Museum and were involved in a workshop where we learnt about Volcanoes and Earthquakes as they continue with their last Geography unit of the year on earthquakes. The workshop used interactive demonstrations to teach about tectonic plates and the impact they have on the environment when the geological forces push against each other. The children became scientists and helped to save ‘Volcano Town’ from disaster! They also got to meet brave and wonderful Barbie in her heatproof suit. Both classes were awarded with a NHM accredited Diploma in Earthquakes and Volcanoes. Well done year 4!
