18 Nov Sports
On Thursday 10th November a group of our students took part in the Haringey Schools Tag rugby tournament. Despite the majority only learning to play the game in September, the team performed brilliantly and were able to showcase the skills they have learned over the past term. We finished 3rd in our group, narrowly missing out on the quarter finals, but big progress and we look forward to future tournaments. Well done to Lei, Walt, Georgie, Red, Malak, Beau, Rufus, Zahin and Otis.
On Friday 11th November another group took part in the Haringey Schools Tag Rugby Festival. This is a friendly tournament where teams compete against other schools to showcase their tag rugby skills. The group progressed very well as the day went on and picked up a lot of experience, scored some great tries and became a defensive unit throughout the festival. Well done to Reggie, Ignacio, Casper, Nahil, Kai, Francis, Lola and Carys. A special mention to Kai, who was one of the only year 4’s to take part and was a standout player on the day.
