21 May Royal Mail’s Heroes Stamp Competition
For more than 50 years Royal Mail’s Special Stamp programme has commemorated British history and achievement. Stamps have also been issued to honour the achievements of many British people. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, there have been many people who have done great things. Many of them are not famous, but they have done extraordinary work.
Over 250 children at South Harringay have entered this nationwide stamp competition, recognising their heroes by designing a commemorative stamp. Who knows, maybe someone from South Harringay will have their stamp design chosen, printed and issued. We wish all those students who entered the best of luck!
