22 Sep Art Inspired by Alma Thomas
In our Art lessons we have started a unit called What a wonderful world. In this unit we have researched the main artist Alma Thomas and learnt that her main technique includes brushstroke effect and she uses bright colours, inspired by the nature around. The children created the background and then using the brushstroke effect they added their leaves, as if they are lying on their backs, looking at the sky and the leaves above. They mixed colours to create new colours.
