02 Dec Year 1 at Railway Fields
On Monday 1st December, Year 1 visited Railway Fields. We observed a range of trees and we identified evergreen trees based on their needle- like leaves. We also noticed that in Autumn, trees lose their leaves and the branches become quite bare. We remembered that this means they were deciduous trees as they have lost their leaves. Some tree leaves turned brown, orange or yellow and were no longer green. The children enjoyed being out in the nature reserve and are excited to head back in winter, spring and summer to observe even more changes!
