05 Dec Year 3’s Trip to the Petrie Museum
In our Art and History lessons this term, Year 3 has been learning about Ancient Egypt. We really enjoyed visiting the Petrie Museum, which is home to one of the world’s largest and most important collections of Egyptian archaeology. The children were able to explore an incredible range of Ancient Egyptian artefacts, using their sketching skills to examine and record them in detail. They were also able to collect ideas for designing and making their own Ancient Egyptian scrolls!
