26 Apr Y2 Visit the South bank
After a term of learning about London Landmarks Year 2 pupils were thrilled when the day to visit South Bank finally arrived. The children spent the day with their classmates by the River Thames sketching Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. There was a unified “wow” as we approached the parkland next to the London Eye. The children were amazed by the size of these landmarks and could hardly wait to take out their sketchbooks and draw them. After lunch and a play on the adventure playground the children returned to school with weary smiles and plenty of exciting stories to share.
