On Friday 18th of November our boys and girls year 3/4 football teams took part in their first tournament of the year. It was a brilliant day where both teams gained valuable experience of playing in a Haringey schools tournament, and both showcased some fantastic football on the day.
Our boys team narrowly missed out on qualifying from the group stage, finishing 3rd in a group of 6. Huge congratulations to Vitor, Eren, Can, Ethan, Marlo, Zachary and Jojo.
Our girls team managed to get to the quarter final, despite only having 5 players in a 6-a-side tournament. Big congratulations to Livia, Kayla, Elena, Sahara and Sasha. Special mention to Sahara who was a standout player on the day, scoring 7 goals throughout the tournament!
On Friday 25th November our Cricket team got their year underway with the Haringey Indoor Cricket Tournament. Over the past few years our cricket team has had huge success, and they continued that success again this tournament. We won all our group games to qualify for the semi-final, where we narrowly lost by 7 runs to Rokesly. We picked up bronze medals in the end which is a huge achievement and we look forward to more success in future tournaments. Well done to Walt, George, Dominic, James, Otis, Billy, Joseph, Red, Georgie, Elise and Sahara.
