On Friday 23rd May, Year 1 spent the day making delicious fruit and vegetable smoothies. The children really enjoyed learning about different fruits and vegetables in this D&T and finished the unit by creating their very own healthy smoothie. Both classes had a wonderful time...

The children have certainly started thinking about what it takes to be a manufacturer and started thinking about why is necessary to test out a product and why the first attempt may not always be the most successful which led to discussions about real life...

We have had a lot of fun designing, making and evaluating a moving monster in Year 2. The children created interesting designs and a linkage system that allowed their monsters to move.
