22 Oct Year 6’s contribution to Black History Month
Over the past few weeks, year 6 have discussed what Black History Month means to them. They have learnt more about some politicians who have strived to make changes for the better, in both the UK and within our local community. Through this, the children have further explored how these changes have, and will continue to, successfully and positively impact upon citizens. We focused upon the fact that this is due to the relentless campaigning of these inspirational people. From this, the children identified the theme of activism and what this means to them.
